Hope the year is winding down well for all of you

My last final is on Tuesday and I'll be free! I'm also graduating from my community college with an AA in elementary education! Happy, but now I gotta find a college to transfer to! Hoping to get in one that boards. Gotta get away from my home lol.

I'm also going to Chicago for Christmas week! First time in about 5 years! Not sure if I'll be bringing my computer or not so I'm trying to get everything that's due for Christmas done. On that note, for the three that I'm doing the Christmas Exchange with I'm done with your pictures! I've already posted one on my tumblr (because she's already done with her side). Her side is ADORABLE!: [link] I'll post the others before I leave even if you aren't done with yours. (I need to get a premium so I can show them off when you're done hehe.)

Anyway, I'll update when I post the other two.

I'll also be starting my web story soon. Possibly January. I plan on writing more into it during my stay in Chicago.

Anyone interested in receiving a Christmas present drawing from me? If so then continue reading~

As you can see it says exchange at the end of that title so that means YOU have to draw me something also. The rules are simple: I draw what you want and you draw what I want. Note that I am only drawing sketches so that means you can draw me a sketch only too. Sketches of this kind will be from me: [link]

One reason I'm doing this is because I want to add some more Christmas cheer for myself and others included! I love Christmas!! Another reason is because I'm going to promote $5 sketch commissions soon, but have no recent samples to show people. So this is also for future commissions.

If you are interested send me a note titled: Christmas, Christmas present or anything of the sort. You have to give me at least 2 characters that you would like me to draw. This is so if I can't draw one thing I can still have another to fall back on. In exchange I will give you 2 characters I would like.

Here is what I will and WON'T draw:

RULES:
-I WON'T draw pictures of mature content. Artistic nudity is okay, but NO hentai, etc.
-I WON'T draw furries or non-human charas (like aliens that look like aliens), but I can draw nekomimi (boy/girl w/ cat ears) or any other animal
-I'd prefer drawing ocs or fancharacters, but I guess I'll consider drawing existing characters from any fandom (fanart)
-Make sure you give me a reference. If your oc doesn't have a drawn out reference give me his/her description and I'll try my best to draw it
-I will only draw ONE character per person and it will be a variation between headshot and full body (I have no idea what I'll do). Please bare with me.
-Also it doesn't HAVE to be about Christmas lol.

Depending on how many notes I get I will only be accepting up to 3 (first 3) at the time being. Maybe 4.
The deadline for both of us to recieve our presents is the 25 of December obviously. *Note me if it has to be later*
I will send the full sized picture to you via email or however else on the internet that you can get it before posting it anywhere else.
I will post smaller versions on DA when I know you've recieved your picture and I've recieved mine.

* If I see I am not getting something in return you will not recieve a full sized picture or anything for that matter. That is how this works. I get a present, you do too. Please be honest about this guys. If you know you can't draw something for this don't note me.

I just wanted to let you guys know I'm not on hiatus anymore. My stomach has been hurting the past week and some people say that it might be due to stress. I'm not really sure, I'll be going to the doctor soon, but if that really is the case I'm not going to keep myself away from sites like tumblr and dA anymore. I'm not going to keep myself from things I love anymore. I've been busy with school and this is the first time I've had to balance a job and school (plus I teach on Sundays). I've had no time for myself. So if this is what it takes to get myself well again so be it. If drawing will help me get better so be it.

I'll be posting some stuff soon. Mostly in my scrap folder so if you aren't watching it then feel free if you want to see more from me.

Usually I don't call hiatuses this early and usually I don't actually go through with them, but this time I am damn serious.

My science class is whooping my ass right now and it's going to be a tough semester and I don't need the distraction of Deviantart lol. I seriously can't mess this up so I am closing off EVERYTHING. I won't be signed in and I won't check anything until Thanksgiving break and even that's a maybe.

I'll be around tumblr though, but only to post sketches once in awhile. Idk how often I'll get the chance. I'll log off of it too though, but I'll pop in there once in awhile. I am seriously shutting myself off from the digital world XD

Also and I will going to NDK next week! I won't have time to post a journal about it right away, but I swear I will.

Also, a lot of my to do list has been cancelled because of the difficulty of my science class. I really hate it haha. I won't make anything on time unless I just do some sleepless nights. Guess I'll have to stock up when the time comes. Ugh.

Decided to write something out for myself and take advantage of my premium membership before it expires next week.

I realized something this morning. I stopped posting fanart here so that I could concentrate on getting originals out and post a chapter or two of some stories. I realized that I'm just not a writer anymore. Writing was my life back in middle school/high school, but it just isn't anymore. I stopped writing originals when I reached high school and stopped writing fanfictions around 2009/10. I'm struggling to get these words written properly only to sit around for hours and have only written one crappy sentence. Even though there are so many stories I'd like to get out there I don't know if it'll happen and I am not talented enough to make them into comics.

I am currently (trying to) write a story complete with pictures and I'll try my best not to quit on this one considering it is a story that is close to my heart and truthfully you won't know the purpose of the story until it ends. I don't even know how many chapters it is going to be, but I'll try not to make it too long or it won't get finished.

So to conclude I'd like to say that I'll start submitting fanart again soon. I guess the break helped me realize how much I've decreased in writing ability and it's time for me to retire XD I'll start drawing more originals, but not necessarily ocs (since that's what got me in this position in the first place lol).

Updating my journal!

Hey guys! So.. I actually made up my mind about this last night, but I think I am going to stop drawing fanart for a while. Working on the last one and the one I'm doing now I realize how... bad or unsatisfied I am with my work. So I decided to draw just my originals for awhile and maybe gain some more inspiration during this transition.

No, I am not GIVING UP, I'm just taking a little break. This doesn't mean I won't sketch a few fanarts here and there, but I'll leave those on my tumblr. Hope you don't mind and if you do feel free to unwatch me. I'm doing this for myself and I just want to feel satisfied. I don't know how long this is going to last, but bare with me during this transition.

Gosh, I'm so behind drawing a decent picture. Ugh, I'm sorry ;-; I hope to draw something soon (like, this week soon).

So here are my resolutions for this year:

Draw at least once a day (It SOUNDS easy, but I tried this before and I just couldn't do it :/ )
Experiment, draw a variety of things
Stay strong (NO CRYING!)  
Find a job
Pass my last year of community college (WHOO!)

Hm. If I think of more I'll add them. Anyway, I hope your 2012 is going great so far!

Psssh sorry guys Scratch that last journal. I didn't know you could just buy a new charger right off the rack lol XD
So, yes, I got a new charger. Cost me 75 dollars (dies), but oh well. Least I can finish my finals and release my new story soon

My charger gave out so no computer/tablet/DA until my charger is replace/fixed.
I don't know how long it takes to do this. First I have to find a cheap place to take care of this.

I'm so upset. I keep losing chargers and I don't understand why.

I'm really sorry. Just when I was about to unveil a project I've been working on.
